Umineko 1

Long ago, I got the entirety of Umineko no naku koro ni on my PC, but due to unfortunate events I lost it and had to start from zero, on another computer.  I got the entire VN again months ago, but I was driven back by the fact I already spent 2 hours for nothing, so I left it there, for a good while. Today, I have decided to finally read it after a long time. I have read the Umineko manga fully, and it honestly became my favorite piece of fiction ever, my favorite story of all time.   It was so good that two years ago, I decided to base my FNF AU on it, not only Umineko but Higurashi Gou/Sotsu as well, isn't it stupid? Basing a FNF AU, on one of the best stories ever written in history. FNF, one of the most cringe and hated games at the time, getting such a complex and mysterious plot? You know, I still laugh at this concept. However, today, I guess Umineko made me realize how important it is for me to write stories, to pay attention to the most insignificant detail, to work on m

Getting characters right

Usually, when I'm on Spotify, I search for good playlists but usually ignoring "Character Playlists". The thing is that I always feel like those playlists are totally inaccurate to the character's personality! It's always Mother Mother and Mitski isn't it? I don't think all characters have the exact same taste in music.  Understanding a character is very important for me, after all, I write fanfiction, what's the point if the character isn't even similar to their canon counterpart?  Of course, writing fanfiction is all about having fun, but sometimes when you are reading one of them, don't you feel that there is something wrong...? Well, at least I do, that's why I try to give it the best of me when writing it.  So, one day, I was trying to analyze one of the characters I'm using for my fanfic, only to realize I know nothing about him! It was hard since I consider myself one of his biggest fans and I meant it. Maybe that's why it w

That chinese FNF fanfic that changed my life

Writing about this is insanely funny if I'm being honest. I usually read fanfiction when I'm feeling down, I know it might sound pretty bad but, I read them because of how bad they can come to be, so bad it's hilarious. Now, don't get me wrong, I have nothing against people who write fanfiction, even I do it! But today I'm not here to talk about my 30 fanfics on Google Docs.  The thing is, I was searching for some funny stuff on AO3 because I was bored, as always. The stuff there was pretty average, and wasn't in the mood for reading something that looks like everything else. That's when a FNF fanfiction appeared, it caught my attention almost immediately because it wasn't in English but in Chinese. I just knew I had to read that.  Now, I don't speak nor read Chinese, the reason why I thought it would be extremely funny was because I was going to use Google Translate for it. It partly worked, specially when one of the texts was "Is that a car?&

Oh my God

I'm extremely bored, and I wanted to write a little. The problem was that I exactly didn't know what to write, like, should I write what I have to or what I want to? Then I didn't feel like using Calmly Writer or discord... or twitter. Anyway, lately I have been reading a book in my class, The idea of writing a book is really attractive to me, but I didn't just want to write like experiences or things like that, plus my "universe" is still in progress, that's what I mean with "project".  So, what about a blog? I only use Twitter to write a little about what I want to draw and stuff. Calmly Writer is just for writing stories because I like the design. Discord is for saving my drawings, sometimes pictures, I discuss ideas with myself and that.  None of them were suited for a blog, so I then thought of Tumblr, but then I realized it wasn't my style, it's nice but not for the type of stuff I want to say.  Then I remembered the existence of t
